- This is located inside of the console, near the vent on the housing of the console
- You can determine if your current fan is defective or not by booting the console (preferably into a game) and placing your hand or face near the exhaust vent. You should be able to feel air moving.
- You can also determine that the current fan is defective or not simply by opening the console and booting it, it will begin to spin soon after booting.
- The console will boot perfectly fine with no fan installed, although it is prone to overheating or damage after prolonged use.
