The Renesas IC located on the drive’s board is married to the APU of the PS4, meaning you must remove the board from this drive assembly and swap it out with the one from the original drive.

If the original drive’s board has failed, then you must desolder the Renesas IC from the original board, and solder it onto the newly purchased drive’s board.
